The hotel is modern and impeccably clean, an impressive feat considering the ongoing renovations common to many establishments. Our room was pleasant, featuring a flat-screen TV and soundproofed walls ensuring a peaceful night's rest, essential for two beer enthusiasts catching up on travel writing. While the breakfast spread was limited, it tasted fantastic, perhaps a result of being in low season. The dining experience in the restaurant, however, offered a delightful meal with a stunning view of the sunset, making it a worthy choice for dinner. The pools were a highlight; the indoor jacuzzi was incredibly warm, inviting us to relax after our exploration of Pag. Just a 15-20 minute stroll from the vibrant town center, the location is quiet but convenient. Excelsis provides a balanced value proposition, making it an intelligent choice for those seeking comfort without extravagance.
